Task >>> |
You and your group will present the Postmodernist (sometimes I abbreviate it PoMo) literary genre to the class. This genre has 2 sub-genres: Beat Literature and Southern Gothicism. To do so, answer all of the questions below using the provided resources.
I'm not going to lie, Postmodernism can be confusing. Never fear! I am here to guide and assist you as much as you need. Please don't hesitate to ask me about anything that puzzles you. And, just because it's much harder, only your group has an extra credit opportunity. Shh! Don't tell the other groups! Godspeed! |
Questions >>>
Bonus Question: In your research, you will find that Southern Gothicism, particularly some of the authors that I direct you to, are classified under the Modernist time period. From your research, do you think they should be classified as Modernist, PoMo, or something else? Support your claim with evidence from your reading(s). |
